Will BACAS Sponsor My Event?
BACAS supports and encourages events that provide culturally rich entertainment and enlightenment. To that end, we welcome your ideas. We have provided a simple form in Adobe Acrobat format that you may download, fill out, and send to us for possible financial sponsorship: download here.

The video to the right is one such event that BACAS sponsored.

The Bucksport Performing Arts Center

One of the major goals for BACAS was the creation of a performing arts center in Bucksport. BACAS is currently seeking grant funding to provide enhancements for the auditorium which opened in September, 2003. Bucksport Community Theatre, and most other BACAS' sponsored shows, are based in The Bucksport Performing Arts Center.

Seating Arrangements at the Center
The Bucksport Performing Arts Center seats a theoretical maximum of 500 people, however blocks of seats are occasionally removed to make room for live sound mixing requirements for some events.

Seating is designed to be comfortable, with two widths available. The Center was designed to be 100% accessible by all citizens regardless of physical and mobility challenges, and we will accommodate your needs.

We do recommend that you give us an advanced notification of your requirements if possible. Below is a link to an overview of the seating arrangement for the Center in Adobe Acrobat format. The light gray colored spaces indicate extra-width seats.
